My friend found me earlier today curled up on the floor of the physics library between two book shelves filled with mathematics books. I looked up at him and said, “Can I just live here, between these two bookshelves? I think there’s enough knowledge and food here to keep me alive for the next, like, five years. I could literally eat the stupid calculus books that I already know everything about, and figuratively devour all these books on lie algebra and representation theory—”
